Call for volunteers to help re-equip our pontoons during December

We now have firmer dates for the dredging and pontoon replacement, so have been able to programme work parties to undertake the various tasks involved in re-equipping the pontoons for our use, as shown below.

These dates are all now in the Calendar on the website.

We have compressed the work into just 6 days. Many hands make light work, so do please log in and volunteer through the Calendar for at least one of these days if you possibly can (provided you are lucky enough to be able to manage the physical activity involved). You will have the full support of the team leaders for each activity.

• 12/13th December to pull cables and water pipes on GH and EF plus part J
• 14th to do the bollards, life buoys, ladders on those pontoons.
• 17/18th December to pull cables and water pipes on A/B & C/D
• 19th to do the bollards, life buoys and ladders on those pontoons.

Don't forget to bring your life jacket and expect date changes if the weather or progress demands.
