Challenging weather for the dredging ...

Many POG members have been keeping an eagle eye on the progress of the dredging!

The weather has not been on the Club and dredging company's side, with them having to do many long hours taking POG spoil down to the Hurst dumping ground. For instance the round trip on 1 December was over 8 hours for the barge crew against F8 gales and meant they worked a really long day. The picture is of the hopper barge yesterday going out past BC outer. (Thank you Colin Church for the image).

Walcon are due back on site at the end of the week to start the reinstatement and rest assured you will be able to return to POG or take up your winter mooring as soon as possible. Moorings have started the planning but it might not be as soon as originally hoped.
