Marchwood Rally

Booking is now open for the ever-popular Marchwood Rally to be held on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st September 2025. This is a very amiable social event. Marchwood Yacht Club(MYC) are friendly hosts but do limit the number of boats and places for the three course meal. Book your place early on the POG website to avoid disappointment.

HW Portsmouth: 1210 BST 4.6m

Depart POG from 0900 and make own way to Marchwood. For those who depart at this time it will be a cruise in company. Please display your POG house flag if you have one.

There will be a treasure hunt and nautical quiz to complete on the way. Details will be emailed to participants on Friday 19-September.

Arrive at Marchwood from 1200 onwards. Feel free to explore the area or prop up the bar!

To keep you entertained as you pass Mayflower park it is the first Saturday of the Southampton Boat show! You moor on Marchwood Yacht Club's walk ashore pontoon (approx £20 per boat) where you will be directed to a berth by the Marchwood volunteer OOD who will also man the well stocked and very reasonable bar (open at lunchtime and from 1900) .

There will be a good quality three-course meal in Clubhouse 1900. Meal choices will be advised in August and will need to be booked and paid for via the POG website.

Each vessel to settle its own mooring fees and meal drinks bill at the Bar on Saturday. MYC is a cash free club, all payments by card.
