Winter Intentions and Preferences

For over-wintering, POG members have a range of potential options;

- A short or long winter lift at POG (limited availability, separate charge).

- Relocate their boat away from POG. If the vacated berth is in Weevil Lake, the berth will be offered as a Winter Berth to another member. This would be really helpful for winter 2025-26 with the major works taking place in Weevil Lake.

- Winter Berth (limited availability): an opportunity for non-Weevil Lake mooring holders to relocate to a vacated Weevil Lake berth. The 2025/26 fee for a Winter Berth is £36/m, where the 'metre measurement' is LOA + beam. This price is based on the normal 5 months period. This winter berths are not likely to be available until mid-December and a pro-rata rate will be applied.

- Remain on the same mooring, but note you will need to vacate to an alternative mooring during the pontoon and dredging works.

IT IS MANDATORY FOR ALL POG BERTH HOLDERS TO INFORM THE MOORING/LIFT TEAM OF THEIR WINTER INTENTIONS AND PREFERENCES

This is done by 'purchasing' a ticket (no cost) for a 'Winter Intentions and Preferences 2025-26' event. Note that this event will only be available for booking for the period stated on the event (approximately 1st July to mid August); the end of this window is the deadline by which winter intentions and preferences MUST be notified.
